Spider Vein Therapy in Lake Tahoe in Lake Tahoe

Now offering Spider Vein Therapy!

Lake Tahoe Spider Vein Treatments

Get those legs ready for shorts, dresses, and lake season! Flow & Glow offers two trusted spider vein treatments in Lake Tahoe, Asclera sclerotherapy and laser vascular reduction, designed to fade visible veins, broken capillaries, cherry angiomas, and telangiectasia. Whether you are tackling small surface veins or a larger area on the legs, our team helps you choose the right approach (or combination of both) for your skin, your timeline, and your goals.

Two trusted treatments under one roof: From the gold-standard injectable (Asclera) to targeted laser (vascular reduction), we offer both leading approaches and help you pick what fits best.

Quick sessions, minimal recovery: Most appointments wrap in 30 minutes or less, and most clients head right back to their day with no long rest period to plan around.

Built around your Tahoe calendar: Whether you are prepping for a wedding, a hiking and lake summer, or just want to feel more confident in shorts and dresses, we will map a treatment plan that lines up with your timeline.

Whether you are targeting a few small spider veins, a larger affected area, broken capillaries, or stubborn vascular spots, our Flow & Glow team tailors the plan to your skin, your goals, and your comfort level, so you can leave feeling confident and excited about results.

What to Expect

You will complete a brief intake, and then we will review what is bothering you, what you have tried, and what you are hoping for, so we can recommend the right treatment (or combination) for your veins.

Quick check-in + vein goals

We will start with a brief intake and a quick conversation about which veins are bothering you and what you have already tried.

Professional vein assessment

We will review the size, depth, and location of the veins and recommend the right path (Asclera, laser, or a combination), based on what is most likely to give you the results you want.

Your treatment experience

Your service takes place in a calm, clean setting with a team that explains each step as we go. Sessions tend to wrap quickly, with most appointments under 30 minutes.

Aftercare + next steps

You will leave with straightforward aftercare guidance and a clear plan for follow-up sessions if recommended (most clients need 1 to 3 visits per area for full results).

Both treatments fade visible veins, but they work differently. Asclera is an injectable that closes off the vein from the inside so your body can absorb it, while laser vascular reduction targets veins from the outside with focused light energy. Many clients use them together for full leg results.

Which spider vein treatment is right for you?

Asclera is best for spider veins, small blue or purple veins, and reticular feeder veins. Excellent first-line option for legs.

Laser Vascular Reduction is best for cherry angiomas, telangiectasia, broken capillaries, and surface veins that may not respond well to injection. Works on legs, face, and body.

The most common questions

Not sure whether you need Asclera, laser, or both? Wondering how many sessions you will need or what recovery looks like? Here are the most common questions clients ask before booking spider vein therapy.

  • Should I start with Asclera or laser vascular reduction?

It depends on the veins. Asclera tends to be the first-line option for spider veins on the legs because it works deeper and treats reticular feeder veins as well. Laser vascular reduction tends to be a better fit for cherry angiomas, telangiectasia, broken capillaries, and surface veins on the face. We will help you decide at your first appointment, and many clients use both for full leg results.

  • How many sessions might I need?

It depends on the size and number of veins, but most clients tend to need 1 to 3 sessions per area. We will give you a realistic estimate at your consultation so you can plan ahead.

  • Is spider vein therapy painful?

Most patients do not find it painful. Some may feel mild discomfort, such as a light stinging or burning sensation, during procedures like sclerotherapy, but treatments are usually fast, minimally invasive, and do not require anesthesia.

  • What does recovery look like?

Veins fade gradually over a few weeks, so plan to start your treatment series at least 6 to 8 weeks before any major event. A wedding, a beach trip, lake season, or shorts weather. Late spring tends to fill up fast for sclerotherapy, so it is worth booking early!

  • Are spider vein treatments safe?

Both Asclera and laser vascular reduction are FDA-approved or FDA-cleared for vein treatment and have strong safety records when performed by trained providers. We will review your medical history and any contraindications during your intake to confirm the right fit.

Ready to fade those veins?

Whether you want a quick laser session for a few surface veins or a full Asclera series before lake season, Flow & Glow is here to help you feel confident in your skin again. Book your appointment today and let's build a plan that fits your goals, your timeline, and your Tahoe summer!
